Some things can't just be boxed and forgotten, antiques, artwork, mirrors, glass cabinets, screens and heirlooms. We wrap and move the delicate pieces with the same care we give a grand piano.
The pieces that need more than a box
Every house has a few things that keep you up at night before a move, the inherited grandfather clock, the framed prints, the glass-fronted cabinet, the marble-topped table, the big flat-screen TV. These are the items where careless handling shows immediately and can't be undone, so they deserve proper preparation rather than being wedged in a van and hoped for the best.
We treat delicate items as their own job within the move. Pictures, mirrors and glass are corner-protected and wrapped; screens and electronics are padded and, where you'd like, carried in purpose-made TV protection; antiques and polished furniture are blanket-wrapped so straps and edges never touch the finish; and anything top-heavy or fragile is loaded so it can't shift in transit. Handling pianos for decades has made us good at exactly this kind of careful, planned lifting.

Every move is fully insured, with £25,000 of liability cover included as standard and extendable to £50,000 on request.

How do you protect fragile items?
Pictures, mirrors and glass are corner-protected and wrapped; electronics and TVs are padded (with purpose-made TV protection on request); antiques and polished pieces are blanket-wrapped so nothing touches the finish; and everything is loaded so it can't shift.
Can you move antiques and heirlooms?
Yes. Delicate, valuable and sentimental pieces are exactly what we take extra care over, drawing on decades of careful piano handling.
Do you move large TVs safely?
Yes. We can transport unboxed flat-screen TVs with proper padding and protection.
Am I covered if something is damaged?
Every move includes £25,000 of liability cover as standard, extendable to £50,000 on request. Tell us the value of special items when you book.
