What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote through our chat, ask us a question, or complete our quotation acceptance form, we collect the details you provide, typically your name, contact details, the addresses involved, and information about your move, piano or storage. For a signed quotation acceptance, we also collect the declaration details you enter on that form.

Marketing attribution. When you arrive on the site we store a small record in your browser’s session storage, the page you landed on, the site or advert that referred you, and any campaign tags in the web address (for example UTM tags or a click identifier). This helps us understand which of our adverts or listings brought you here and give the quote team useful context. It is held only in your browser for the duration of your session and is cleared when you close the tab.

Website analytics. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to understand how the site is used in aggregate (for example which pages are popular). Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personal or personally identifiable information. We cannot identify individual visitors from it.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to prepare your quotation, respond to your enquiry, carry out and administer your removal, piano move, disposal or storage, and to keep records of contracts you enter into with us. We use attribution and analytics information to understand where our enquiries come from and to improve the website and our advertising.

Our lawful basis

Where you contact us for a quote or a service, we process your information to take steps at your request and to perform our contract with you. Where we use aggregate analytics and marketing-attribution information, we do so on the basis of our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, in a way that does not override your rights.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not allow anyone to pay to advertise to you through this site. We share your details only where it is necessary to provide your move, for example with a trusted subcontractor carrying out part of the work on our behalf, as permitted under our Terms and Conditions, and with the service providers who help us run the website and our enquiry systems. Those providers act on our instructions. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and contract information for as long as needed to provide your service, to keep proper business and accounting records, and to meet our legal obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised. Session-storage attribution data is not retained beyond your browsing session.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have inaccurate information corrected, and, in certain circumstances, to have your information deleted or its use restricted.
