Packing is the part of moving everyone underestimates. Let our experienced team do it for you, fully or in part. We arrive with everything needed, pack the house, and take the spares away with us.
Full or part packing, however much help you want
Packing a house properly takes far longer than most people expect, and badly packed boxes are where damage happens. Our packing service takes the job off your hands. Choose a full pack, where we wrap and box everything for you, or a part pack, where we handle just the awkward, fragile or heavy things (the kitchen, the loft, the china cabinet) and you do the rest. Either way it's done quickly, safely and with the right materials.
When you book a packing service, the materials are ours to worry about. We turn up on the day with everything the job needs, boxes in every size, wardrobe cartons, packing paper, bubble wrap and tape, and whatever is left over goes back on the van with us. Nothing for you to estimate, buy in advance or find a use for afterwards. Fragile and delicate pieces are wrapped individually, and everything is labelled so it lands in the right room at the other end.
Because the same team packs and moves you, nothing gets lost in translation between two firms, we know how it's packed, so we know how to load and carry it. Can you pack everything for me?
Yes. A full pack means we wrap and box the entire house. Or choose a part pack where we handle just the fragile, heavy or awkward things and you do the rest.
Do you provide the boxes and materials?
On a packing service, yes, everything. We arrive with boxes, wardrobe cartons, paper, bubble wrap and tape, and take the spares away afterwards. It works differently if you pack yourself: you get some free boxes and tape with your move and buy the rest. See our materials guide.
Will fragile things be safe?
Fragile and delicate items are individually wrapped and boxed with the right protection, and clearly labelled. See our delicate items page for special pieces.
Is packing cheaper if I do some myself?
A part pack usually costs less than a full pack. Tell us how much you'd like us to do and we'll price it accordingly. Bear in mind that whatever you pack yourself, you are buying the materials for.
